Two optional trips are to be offered at 1st IMERP-XIV EJIP. The first will take on Wednesday 13 April at the Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Valencia (MCNV). This museum hosted, among others, one of the most important collection of remains belonging to more than 20 families of Quaternarian South-American mammals.

The second field trip (Saturday 16) is a all day long post-meeting trip near Los Serranos. We will visit the Upper Jurassic marine deposits of the Arroyo Cerezo locality, the classical Miocene Konservat-Lagerstätten of Libros, and the Late Jurasscic-Early Cretaceous Riodeva site, type locality of the Turiasaurus riodevensis, the largest dinosaur discovered in Europe.

Besides, during the meeting the Palaeontological Museum and the Palaeontology Laboratory of Alpuente and the dinosaur footprints site of Corcolilla will be visited.
